Special Event


As part of the first Japanese Food Culture Festival, New York held the “Flavors of Japan: A Gastronomic Discovery” event in March of 2007.

Held at the New York Marriott Marquis hotel, “Flavors of Japan” featured talented chefs from around the world including New York’s David Bouley and Japan’s Chef Kenichi Hashimoto, who is known for his skills preparing kaiseki, a traditional multi-course Japanese dinner.
